I know valentine’s day is well gone, but since I was too broke to celebrate I thought it was a good idea to go back in time and tell you about the best Valentine’s day present I’ve ever received (till now, I’m open to surprises). Whilst my present for my boyfriend was only a vinyl he surprised me with a weekend trip to Paris. I know, so romantic! So after we decided the date and spent daaaays on the Airbnb website looking for the perfect flat (needed to have the cutest flat in Paris) we booked and made our way the beautiful Paris ! Instead of taking the plane we reached the city with the train. The journey is a little bit longer, but you have every comfort you might need plus FREE WI-FI !!! What more can a girl want, am I right ?! Ahah
However we slept the whole way.

Once arrived, finding our flat was super simple and it was pretty as I expected, and maybe a little more, we could see the Eiffel Tower from the window !!

The flat was had a nice bathroom, a tiny living room with TV that we didn’t use, a good size room and the cutest kitchen ever from where every morning, while making coffee and cereal I could see the Eiffel Tower and dream about be a classic French girl.
For our trip we didn’t had much planned (so unusual for me) we took every day as it comes deciding what to do and where to go following our mood. And looking back it was the best decision. Sometimes things that you don’t plan turn out to be the best ones at the end. We knew we wanted to see the tourist bit of the city but we winged all the rest. From our flat we walked to the Eiffel Tower we were lucky it was a nice hot day but the queue to go up was too long and we got hungry, so wondered around and found a classic brasserie where I got the most delicious salted crepes in the world.

A stop that you can’t miss while in Pairs are of course the museum(at least for me, my boyfriend would’ve avoided them)but at least once in your life you have to visit the Louvre. We didn’t manage to visit it all because is so big and will take you days to see it all, but we saw the main bits that were important to us. And I really suggest you to visit the Musée d'Orsay because if you're like me and looove the Impressionism movement, well you'll just have the time of your life.

But one of the things I loved the most and I guess is no surprise to anyone when I say that but it was Disneyland!!!!
On one of the last days we finished all the things we wanted to see so we just packed our bags and went to the magic place that is Disneyland!

And I am not exaggerating when I say it was one of the happiest day of my life.
There's just something about that place that makes you go back in time and make you feel like you're 5 years old again.
You just jump around, smile to everyone and wave to all the princesses. ( at least I hope everyone does the same, otherwise I was the only one) However I am not gonna lie, my favorite bit were the roller coaster. I am a very big fan of those crazy things and some of them I had to go in twice.

Unfortunately after that magical day we had to back to London, however I suggest you to take your boyfriend, girlfriend, mum, sister or your best friend and go visit Paris.
Eat all the food, all the croissants all the baguette and why not try some escargot! (they are not that bad as you might think).
Visit all the museums, do all the vintage shopping and if you have time to spare at the end go back in time and feel a little bit younger in Disneyland.
