I want to remember us like this, smiling during one of our adventures.
I wonder where you took me that time, of course we were at the beach.
That's where you would find us, if we were not in a museum or wondering around the streets of Napoli looking for hidden secrets.
You know San Gregorio is still my favourite place in Napoli.
I am glad I was lucky enough to have spent so much time with you, out of all my cousins I was the only one.
We used to look at photographs, you used to read to me all the poems you wrote to nonna.
They were amazing and I never told you.
We used to play music and I would put my feet on top of yours and we used to dance.
You used to pick me up from school every day. I will cherish that time spent with you forever.
Than time passed, I moved out, you got very sick, we never really spoke much.
We never really needed words, all we needed was a smile, with that smile we were telling each other everything.
I will never forget the your blue eyes and the way you used to look at me.
You know, I think I got my love for poems and naps from you.
I remember, everyday, after lunch you would go to bed and rest, at least try to. While me, my sister and my three cousins used to run up and down that little flat. You used to tell us off.
Well I hope now you can finally rest in peace.
I love you, forever.
